Homeschool Beginner Band

Our first ever session of Homeschool Beginner Band begins this Fall! Join local band and music teacher, Mrs. Jenny Patterson, for this 15-week beginner band class! Students will receive both small and large group instruction using the Essential Elements method books. Fall Session will conclude with a Christmas concert where the band will showcase all they have learned! An introductory meeting will be held on July 30 at 10:00 AM. See additional details below.

DETAILS

COST: $150 per 15-week concert band session. Sessions will be offered each Fall and Spring.

EXPERIENCE: No prior music experience is required.

INTRODUCTORY MEETING

If you are interested in participating in the band, please join us for the introductory parent/student meeting on July 30 at 10:00 AM. Mrs. Jenny will provide more details about how the session will work and answer any questions you may have. Additionally, if your student doesn’t already have an instrument of their own, a representative from Nottelmann’s Music will be available at the meeting to help students try out a variety of band instruments and provide instrument rental options if needed. Know that students are also welcome to purchase or borrow instruments elsewhere. Instrument rental from Nottelmann's is not required! If you have a student who would like to participate in the beginner band or have questions but are unable to attend the meeting, please contact Mrs. Jenny at jenny@theacademyofmusic.org.
